The fifth annual Bessie Smith Heritage Festival will feature a two-day celebration of music, visual art and culture. Music throughout the day and evening concerts planned for inside and outside the Bessie Smith Cultural Center Aug. 18-19. Rashaan Patterson’s, new release “Bleuphoria”, which was released earlier this year has written songs recorded by Jody Watley, Tevin Campbell, Brandy and Chico DeBarge.
