Replenish your body, mind, and spirit as you connect with friends, ride at your leisure, enjoy a nourishing yoga practice, and share a delicious light lunch! Celebrate the fall seasonal changes with a ride along the Portage Creek Bicentennial Park Trail and a grounding yoga practice outdoors in Milham Park.
We will meet at the interior Milham Park parking lot where we will check-in and make our way over to the Bicentennial Park Trail Head. We will ride along the trail from Kilgore Rd. to Celery Flats and return back to Milham Park. If you choose not to cycle, feel free to take a nature walk during the riding portion. Our morning ends with a yoga practice inspired by Ayurvedic principles for the fall season, then a delicious lunch provided by our local friends, Artisan Sandwich Co and Juicy Leaf.
Plan to arrive at Milham Park few minutes early. We will meet in the large shaded area in the interior of the park and there is a parking lot there (NOT the lot by the road), enter the park off of Kilgore. See details below:
- If you are coming from the west (Lovers Lane side), take Kilgore past the first park entrance and turn left into the second park entrance off of Kilgore.
- If you are coming from the east (Portage Rd side), take a right into the first park entrance off of Kilgore.
- Take a short drive into the park to the interior parking lot: drive past the first lot and the restrooms, down the winding drive, go over the stone bridge, curve right and then turn left into the parking lot. Our classes will be under the trees in the middle of the park!
