Shuggie Otis fans get ready for new music from the multi-talented instrumentalist, releasing his first new music since his innovative 1974 album “Inspiration Information.” Produced by Otis, the double set “Inspiration Information/Wings of Love” is set to be released April 16 on Epic/Legacy.
The first CD is comprised of the original album plus four previously unreleased songs recorded in 1971; the second half, “Wings of Love,” will contain 15 unreleased live and studio songs recorded between 1975 and 2000.
The R&B legend will continue his “Shuggie Otis Rite Tour,” which began with European dates in November.
