Hip-Hop Mogul Chris Lighty Death Ruled A Suicide By Medical Examiner
In just day before National Suicide Awareness week, Chris Lighty an American music industry executive was found deceased at his Bronx home on Thursday morning (August 30, 2012). He was found at his home in the Bronx with a gunshot to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The shooting appears to be self-inflicted and authorities recovered a 9 mm handgun.
Lighty founded Violator, a record label, management, and marketing company, which represented hip hop artists such as Nas, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, Missy Elliott, L.L. Cool J, and 50 Cent and served as Sean “Diddy” Combs’ manager.
