Tim Dog, ‘F–k Compton’ Rapper,Passes Away At 46
Timothy Blair, known to the world as Tim Dog, and just celebrated a birthday last month passed away on Valentine’s Day from a seizure following a lengthy battle with diabetes. He was 46.
Tim, who is from Bronx, New York rose to prominence during the early ’90s with his debut LP Penicillin on Wax and diss record “F–k Compton“. Tim appeared on songs with the Ultramagnetic MCs and formed the duo, Ultra, with member Kool Keith.
“Fuck Compton” appeared in XXL Magazine‘s “Top 25 Diss Tracks of All Time” and earned Tim Dog critical acclaim from progressive hip-hop producer Blockhead who said that Tim Dog’s “The Dog’s Gonna Getcha” (off Penicillin On Wax) is “quite possibly the hardest song ever made.”
