National Night Out At Rockwell Park

[easyrotator]erc_88_1344432223[/easyrotator]This is the 29th Annual National Night Out, which is a crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. The Eastside Neighborhood Association, for the past few years have hosted their community National Night Out . The focus of the event is to get citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses and neighboorhood organizations to work together to keep their communities safe and sustainable.

Rockwell Park was the venue for this years National Night Out, with plenty of citizens, law enforcement and organizations working together for the betterment of their neighborhood. Goals of the event are:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

See you next year for the next National Night Out.
