Kalamazoo(Majyck Radio)-Neighbors woke up to The SWAT and other police surrounding a house in the S.Burdick/Belmont area. Tip were being reported that a suspect from Benton Harbor who was armed and dangerous was inside a home on Belmont, just off Burdick this morning.
The homeowner spoke to Majyckradio.com explained that he does not reside at the home, but renting it out and the police would not let him in the area to check on his property or to see about his tenant. Hour passed before the SWAT team entered the home with K-9’s but was unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was not located on the property. It is unclear if he was ever on the property. No arrest has been made at this time.
